Our lounge is open Wednesdays and Fridays 4 pm - 10 pm.

As in most clubs and organizations, most the work is done by a handful of people. Our Post is no exception. We are in the good and bad position of being successful and our limited staff is being stretched. If you are a member of the Post please consider helping out instead of just holding a membership card in your wallet.  We need help during functions bar tending, managing the bar, cleaning, security, bookkeeping, etc.

Our annual St. Patrick's Day dinner is March 14th from 6pm to 11pm. Tickets are $15 per person. You can buy tickets on Wednesday or Friday afternoons from 4-8 or you can reserve tickets by sending us an email at info@vfwlymansville.com. In the email include your name and the number of tickets you would like.



The objects of the Veterans of Foreign Wars are fraternal,  patriotic, historical and educational; to preserve and strengthen  comradeship among its members; to assist worthy comrades; to perpetuate  the memory and history of our dead, and to assist their widows and  orphans; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United  States of America, and fidelity to its Constitution and laws: to foster  true patriotism, to maintain and extend the institutions of American  freedom; and to preserve and defend the United States from all her  enemies, whomsoever.     



Our hall is available for rent!

  • $350 - 1 pm to 9 pm.
  • If the event wants to stay after 9 pm to 11 pm, there is a $50 per hour charge.
  • If the event requires an early setup, there is a $30 per hour charge starting at 11 am.
  • Ample parking is available.
  • A security deposit of $100 is required.  $50 of the deposit is returned if the hall is properly cleaned.
  • All alcoholic beverages must be purchased at the bar. 
  • Cash, credit or debit cards only are accepted for all payments.
  • Capacity: 64 people with tables & chairs. 139 people without tables & chairs. (If you need a larger venue, we have arrangements with other Posts who can probably accommodate your needs.)
